The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Clarkson University invites applicants to apply for a tenure-track position in modern European, U.S. or Canadian history at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will teach courses on the wars of the 20th century, as well as War and Society, the foundation course for the Department’s War Studies Concentration. The candidate’s application should demonstrate that s/he has the expertise to offer these courses as well as a lively interest in participating in the War Studies program. The successful candidate will also bring a second field of expertise that complements the department’s focus areas in the environment, health, or race, class and gender.
