Job Description Summary

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Coulter School of Engineering at Clarkson University invites applications at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates are sought who have research expertise that complements that of current faculty and builds on departmental strengths in the areas of power and cyber physical systems. Those with research interests in power distribution, power system protection and cyber security, motor drives and utility scale power converters, distributed energy resources, smart grid data analytics and/or microgrids are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to develop a vigorous, creative, externally funded research program. The successful candidate will join a program with existing collaborative research efforts involving faculty across campus.

In addition to a CV, candidates should provide a separate statement on their research, detailing how interactions with current ECE faculty endeavors would augment our existing areas of strength and a statement of their teaching experience and philosophy.
