Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

The MBA Recruiter will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting students to the MBA Program. They will also work cross functionally with the general graduate recruitment team to recruit for all graduate programs Clarkson offers when appropriate. Assist the Director of MBA Programs with developing and implementing a recruiting and marketing strategy to attract high quality students to the MBA programs. This includes managing and developing 4+1 Partnerships with other Colleges. This recruiter will need to provide excellent customer service to all applicants of the David D. Reh School of Business. Primary areas of responsibility for this position include graduate student recruiting, marketing, and admissions.

Position Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development, implementation, and coordination of a long-term strategic marketing and recruitment plan for MBA programs.
· Travel to various recruiting events and universities to market the MBA programs to prospective students and prepare detailed trip reports. These reports include managing the travel and recruitment budget for the Graduate Business Programs Account and reconcile all travel expenses.
· Plan and coordinate on-campus and off-campus recruiting activities for the MBA programs. These events include graduate fairs, career fairs, open house events, and individual school visits.
· Develop and maintain excellent relationships with 4+1 schools. Research and coordinate with Director possible new articulation agreements and relationships.
· Partner with the Central Admissions team to develop strategies to recruit all graduate students for various programs. Develop new policies and processes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of overall graduate recruiting and marketing.
· Manage and coordinate all formal communication with prospective MBA students via email, phone calls and in-person meetings.
· Build relationships with all applicants for the MBA program and assist them throughout the admissions process.
· Facilitate correspondence between prospective students, the faculty, and staff when appropriate.
· Assist with maintaining all applicants in Slate to ensure they move through the admissions process as efficiently as possible.
· Maintain accurate application data to assist with enrollment and revenue tracking and reporting.
·· Assist with updating and checking the accuracy or MBA program information on the Clarkson website.
· Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.

Bachelors degree, outside sales experience, team player, high level of professionalism, strong communication and presentation skills, manage and meet deadlines, entrepreneurial motivation, ability to perform without extensive direct supervision; ability to work evenings and weekend hours; overnight travel required; working knowledge of computer programs and customer based software required

Bachelors degree with higher education experience. Outside sales experience a plus. Candidates must be a team player and have a high level of professionalism with strong communication and presentation skills, ability to manage and meet deadlines, a high level of entrepreneurial motivation, ability to perform without extensive direct supervision and willingness to work some evenings and weekend hours. Some overnight travel is required. Working knowledge of computer programs and customer based software required.
